Payment processing for Portugal and EU/EEA services and events
Payment for services and events delivered by Daily Humanity Europe, Lda is made in favor of Daily Humanity Europe, Lda, unless the booking page, quotation or invoice states otherwise. For services and events physically supplied in mainland Portugal, Portuguese VAT is applied at the standard rate of 23% under the Portuguese VAT Code (Código do IVA, approved by Decree-Law No. 394-B/84) and the EU VAT Directive (Council Directive 2006/112/EC), unless a specific exemption, reduced rate, reverse-charge rule or other mandatory VAT treatment applies. For online services and online events supplied cross-border to consumers in the EU, VAT is determined under the applicable EU place-of-supply rules and may be declared through the EU One Stop Shop (OSS), with VAT due in the customer's Member State where required. Business-to-business services, services supplied outside the EU VAT area, and other consulting services are treated under the applicable local VAT, reverse-charge and place-of-supply rules.

Payment processing for Ukraine services and events
Payment for Ukraine-based services and events is made in favor of Daily Humanity Consulting, LLC. The Daily Humanity website and connected payment providers facilitate booking and payment collection on behalf of Daily Humanity Consulting, LLC; Daily Humanity Consulting, LLC is the entity that receives the relevant fee and provides the service or event in Ukraine. Ukraine-based services and event fees are charged by Daily Humanity Consulting, LLC under its local tax-exempt regime, and 0% VAT is applied.
Data controller for Ukraine services and events
For Ukraine-based services and events, Daily Humanity Consulting, LLC acts as an independent controller in respect of the participant data needed to plan, deliver and document the service or event. Ukraine is outside the EEA and is not covered by an EU adequacy decision; transfers of participant data from Daily Humanity Europe, Lda to Daily Humanity Consulting, LLC are made under Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914) and, where required, your explicit consent under Article 49(1)(a) GDPR.
