On April 7 in Kyiv, the Daily Humanity team officially launched the Drone Detection Lending Library — an innovative system offering free rental of drone detectors and personal protective equipment for those working in high-risk zones.
The presentation brought together representatives of Ukrainian and international media, humanitarian missions, and volunteer organizations. The project's primary goal is to provide frontline professionals with critical equipment without unnecessary bureaucracy or financial burden.
Why Is This Important?
Working in modern warfare conditions requires not only ballistic protection but also high situational awareness. Drone detectors have become a necessity for survival, yet their cost and the complexity of the procurement process remain obstacles for many independent reporters and small NGOs.

How Does the System Work?
Daily Humanity has implemented a fully autonomous digital process with three components:
- Online verification (KYC) for identity confirmation.
- Electronic document management enabling one-minute agreement signing via the Vchasno service or DocuSign.
- Autonomous logistics through convenient delivery systems.
At the project's launch, the Library features 40 active drone detectors, allowing simultaneous protection for 40 field teams. Infrastructure costs are fully covered through 2026 by early donors. Technological partners include Gnizdo LTD and Drone Spices, manufacturer of Tsukorok detectors.
During the presentation, Daily Humanity distributed 10 drone detectors to the Suspilne Broadcasting team.

How to Join the Initiative?
Since logistics and management are already funded, 100% of new donations support purchasing additional equipment. Rental applications are processed through the Lending Library page on the Daily Humanity website.
