Only positive impressions of the refresher. Theoretical and above all practical training in pre-hospital care and work in a hostile environment is critically important, and everyone needs it.
This is my second time at your training, but HEAT + Drones is special. Only the information you actually need, only practical skills, from lecturers and experienced tactical-medicine and drone instructors.
Satisfied with this training as with the previous ones. I like the instructors — they explain in accessible language and do not overload you. Thank you for organising these; they genuinely come in useful and let me feel more confident on trips into dangerous areas.
I liked the drone section most, since it is the live problem when working in dangerous areas right now. The simulation made the sequence of actions much clearer — in real conditions there is no time to analyse like that.
A lot of impressions and emotions — the knowledge and practice I gained are very important in my work. I want to thank all the instructors; they were excellent and it was a pleasure to work with them.
This training helped me look honestly at work situations where we simply got lucky. It helped me understand how to act correctly rather than at random, and to structure knowledge that had been scattered and unstable.
It was genuinely tough, but there is no other way to gain this experience and learn to act quickly and effectively. Theory was reinforced by practice immediately, and running scenarios helped me feel how real the threats are. I came home with scrapes, bruises and dirty kit — and wanting to come back for the next level.
Daily Humanity 2402 trainings are a treasure, and I say that from experience — a three-day HEFAT in 2024 and now the refresher. The programme is professionally built and clear. The instructors are real specialists who can explain everything, even to someone who has never held a tourniquet. I can only recommend it, and I am already waiting for the next one.
The training was extremely useful and practical. The instructors explained clearly what to do in emergencies, how to give help before medics arrive and how to apply a tourniquet properly. It left me much more confident in my own actions in critical situations.
Before a flight, cabin crew tell you the adult puts the oxygen mask on first so they can help the child. Thanks to this training I understood better that putting the mask on myself first, then helping others, is not selfishness but responsibility. To do my work properly I need to have the strength for it.
Huge thanks to the organisers for the chance to be in such a beautiful place, with wonderful views and fresh air — to genuinely rest, gain new knowledge and pick up skills.
I liked everything, from the theory to the practice. The only thing was that team allocation was not closely supervised — though that may have been part of the exercise.
I am blown away. This is the best training I have done. That moment when you see the bruises on your body after the practical drills and feel proud of them. I am hugely grateful I got to learn everything we covered.
Useful experience with a large share of practical exercises. Essential for journalists in frontline regions. Expert trainers who actively helped us learn.
The safety training was extremely useful — the knowledge helps you act better in crisis situations and feel confident about your own security.
The training was fascinating and instructive. I took away a great deal of important, current information in three days. What I liked most were the simulations of dangerous situations in the field, where you apply MARCH and teamwork at the same time. Sincere thanks to the organisers.
Learned something new and am ready to use it.
The training made me feel considerably more confident.
In our situation, where all our energy goes into journalism, practical safety skills for wartime are priceless. I feel more confident now because I learned to act under the MARCH protocol.
This is my second training. After the first I promised myself I would never step onto the training ground again — and I am very glad I dared to. The second time I felt more motivated and more confident, and I improved my knowledge and skills. Incredibly grateful.
